Nothing is going well for actor Sharwanand for the last few years. After the failures of Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Ranarangam and Jaanu, Sharwanand planned to score a hit with his new film Sreekaram. However, fate was not going his way. Despite getting a decent talk, Sreekaram failed to do well at the box office.
Sreekaram had hit the screens on March 11. On the same day, Jathi Ratnalu released as well. The latter got a blockbuster talk since the first show. On the other hand, Sreekaram had a noble idea. However, the youth were attracted more towards Jathi Ratnalu and is paying less attention to Sharwa’s film.
Sreekaram had to collect a share of Rs. 16 crores to remain in a safe zone. The openings were good but the collections dropped from the second day. Apparently, the film failed to collect Rs. 10 crores share throughout this weekend. There are three releases lined up for the release this Friday. Thus, Sreekaram may end up as a disaster and remain a disappointment for the distributors.
