Vishnu Manchu and Kajal Aggarwal will be seen as siblings in their upcoming action thriller Mosagallu based on real incidents of world’s biggest IT scam worth 2600 Cr. Meanwhile, Kajal during her interaction with scribes makes interesting revelations about the film. The film happens to be her first release after she is married to her longtime beau Gautam Kitchlu in October, 2020.
What made you to sign the film where you need to play sister to protagonist?
Vishnu sent me the script and asked me whether I liked it. I said I loved it and then asked him, who is going to play my brother. He said it’s him. I was little bit surprised. But, I couldn’t think about anything as the script was very interesting and I got a meaty role to play. In fact, it’s my character behind the scam.
How was Vishnu Manchu on sets as a producer?
When Vishnu comes on sets, he is just an actor. He didn’t ever behave like a producer. A lavish budget was spent on the project. But, he was very confident about it from the very beginning.
How many scenes you have with Suniel Shetty?
I shared only one scene with Suniel Shetty and it’s a wonderful experience working with him.
Preity Zinta was original choice, but she rejected it. Didn’t you feel it’s risky to play a sister to protagonist?
It depends from one person to the other. Glad, I got this opportunity. For me, it worked out really well.
Did you dub for the film in any language?
I gave voice for only English version.
Is your husband Gautam Kitchu okay with you continuing to do films?
He is absolutely supportive. He indeed is proud of my films. I don’t think much about my films performance. But, Gautam is very interested in numbers. He likes to know how my films perform.
Did you ever get cheated?
Everybody gets cheated and I too got cheated. I did online shopping in a wrong portal and lost a little bit money. My dad scolded me for that. It’s not a big money, but he cautions us to be very careful in doing online transaction.
Kajal who is doing couple of Telugu and two Tamil films will be hosting a TV show. “The announcement regarding my first show as a host will be announced in a couple of days,” she affirms.
