Netflix is slowly becoming a base of anthology films. After the likes of Lust Stories, Ghost Stories, Paava Kadhaigal and Pitta Kathalu, Netflix is now coming up with a brand new anthology film called Ajeeb Dastaans. Touted to be an amalgamation of four crazy stories, the teaser of this movie dropped last night.
The teaser gives us a glimpse of these twisted stories that feature an ensemble of actors like Aditi Rao Hydari, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Konkana Sen Sharma, Shefali Shah and Nushrratt Bharucha. The trailer of the film is expected to drop in a couple of weeks. Just like the other Netflix anthologies, even this film’s stories may also have some unexpected twists.
The four filmmakers who directed the four stories of this anthology are Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan and Kayoze Irani. Popular filmmaker Karan Johar produced this film under his digital wing production house Dharmatic Entertainments. Ajeeb Daastaans will premiere on April 16.
