OTT platforms have now become the primary source of entertainment for audiences across the world. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, many films had a direct release on digital platforms. Many star actors also ventured into the digital arena by acting in web series and films. Tollywood’s King Nagarjuna revealed that he is also in talks for a web series.
Speaking in an interview with the leading media house, Nagarjuna said a story is being narrated to him, which will be shot in an episodic manner. He believes that there is a scope to experiment in the digital zone. He also added that OTT platforms are a great base for small-budget films.
Nagarjuna’s upcoming release Wild Dog was supposed to release directly on Netflix. Still, the makers took back the decision after the theatres reopened in the Telugu states and many films started doing well at the box office. Now, this action-thriller will hit the screens on April 2. Directed by Ahishir Solomon, Wild Dog features Dia Mirza, Saiyami Kher, and Ali Reza in the other key roles.
