Do you know how much security was given to terrorist Ajmal Kasab and the kind of VIP services given to the man who killed many innocents in Mumbai terrorist attacks in 2008? Nagarjuna who played NIA Officer Vijay Varma in Wild Dog explains everything in detail in the film’s promo that is out now.
“1.5 Cr internal security, 2 Cr bullet and bomb proof cell, 26 Cr for 250 special police force and a total of 29 Cr was spent. Apart from these, biryani, Z Category Security and VIP Service… This all is for Ajmal Kasab… Are you okay with that? I’m not okay with that,” thunders Nagarjuna.
The promo actually begins with Nagarjuna on a mission as he attacks a criminal in a valley. Nag then gives details of incidents that led Indian governments to let go various terrorists. In 1989, central minister’s daughter was kidnapped and to save her 13 terrorists were released. In 1999, when plane was hijacked in Kandahar, 3 terrorists were released and one among them was Masood Azhar who is behind Mumbai attacks.
The promo also showcases Nagarjuna hunting the criminals in his style and eliminating them on spot. We get to see some high octane action scenes performed by Nagarjuna and like the trailer, the teaser too promises action extravaganza in theatres.
Wild Dog is directed by Ashushor Solomon and produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy under Matinee Entertainment. S Thaman’s background score and Shaneil Deo’s camera work are the biggest strengths, other than Nag’s action-packed performance.
Wild Dog will release worldwide on April 2nd.
