Tamil Actor Vivek Admitted In ICU A Day After Taking Vaccination

Prominent Kollywood actor Vivek has been hospitalized in Chennai after he suffered a heart attack on Friday morning. The sources confirm that the actor’s condition is serious and needs further treatment in the ICU.

Yesterday on Thursday, Vivek received the Covid-19 vaccine in the Government Omandurar hospital and he shared the news on his Twitter handle. Just a day later, the actor is admitted to SIMS Hospital in Chennai. As per doctors, the cause of a heart attack and sudden discomfort or deterioration in his health condition is yet to be known.

“He is unconscious and there is no pulse. We are trying our best to revive him,” a doctor said. Until yesterday he was active on social media too and in fact, urged people and followers to come forward and take Covid vaccination shots.

People should not be afraid of any side effects of these vaccines. Both Covishield and Covaxin are safe and will only save us. Even if it does not prevent us from getting infected it will reduce infection severity,” he tweetd in Tamil.

Vivek was first introduced into cinemas by ace director K Balachander and ruled as a comedian for a long time. Along with his fans, we wish him a speedy recovery.
