Siddharth’s ‘Speak Up’ Tweet Storms Social Media

Actor Siddharth is not like the usual celebrities and he pitches his voice on issues that really matter. We also have seen him taking on politicians and shutting down them with his point of view. Yet again Siddharth made it to the headlines with a tweet wherein he commented on celebrities who have millions of followers.

“People with millions of followers are staying silent and watching this horror show. They have their reasons. What are yours? Speak up. Ask questions. Demand care and reassurance from your government. This is going to take a long time to overcome. Wake up. #IndiaWillOvercome,” tweeted Siddharth.

The ‘Rang De Basanthi’ actor is indeed true. Celebrities should speak up or at least do whatever is in their capacity to help people who are suffering. Providing food, water, medicines are the basic requirements now and what we see is not even one percent of celebrities are opening up and are just confined to announce, if they tested positive or take a vaccine shot.
