The second wave of Covid-19 is shattering lives and no one is an exception to it. A young Tollywood director has lost the battle with the virus and this has saddened the film industry. The deceased director is identified as Kumar Vatti who made his directorial debut with young hero Sree Vishnu’s ‘Maa Abbayi.’
Recently director Kumar has contracted the virus and for treatment he was admitted in Srikakulam district’s Great Eastern Medical School and Hospital. While undergoing treatment, Kumar breathed his last. Rana’s ‘Viraata Parvam’ director Venu Udugula has condoled the death of Kumar Vatti.
Before making his debut as director Kumar worked as assistant to director Parasumra Petla. With Parasumra, Kumar worked for ‘Yuvatha,’ ‘Solo’ ‘Anjaneyulu’ and ‘Sarocharu.’ Though Kumar’s ‘Maa Abbayi’ did not click at the box office, he was determined to score a hit and accordingly he penned the script for the second film too.
But Covid-19 has taken his life. Learning about Kumar’s demise, several celebrities have conveyed their deep sympathies to his family members.
