Vidya Balan’s Sherni Trailer: The Tigress Roars

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has the knack of picking author backed roles and her next is Sherni.’ The trailer of the film is out and sharing it Vidya wrote, “Be courageous. Be strong. Be fearless. It’s time for the #Sherni to roar!”.

Sherni showcases the story of a forest officer who is on the hunt for a tigress that is unsettling the tribals. How Vidya and her team trace the tigress might be the main crux of the film. The makers also showcased Vidya’s character as a metaphor for tigress, who defies all the odds and rises among the people around her. Her screen presence is elegant as usual and she makes us think that no one could pull off these kinds of roles better than her.

The presence of talented actors like Vijay Raaz, Sharath Saxena, and Neeraj Kabi make this movie an interesting one to watch out for. Sherni is directed by Amit Masurkar, who earlier made the critically-acclaimed film Newton.

‘Sherni’ trailer also conveys a message that there is a need for balance in a world of man-animal conflict. The trailer is captivating and Vidya steals the show but in a reserved performance and it rightfully says ‘The Tigress Knows Her Way!’
