Telangana is celebrating its 7th Formation Day and the celebrations are limited due to the Covid-19 restrictions. CM KCR paid tributes to martyrs at Gun Park and later hoisted the tricolor at Pragathi Bhavan. The TRS chief also extended wishes to Telangana people on the occasion.
At the BJP office in Hyderabad, chief Bandi Sanjay and other leaders hoisted the Indian flag and observed low celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, Bandi yet again made some comments that can be needed for headlines.
“I pledge to wipe out the TRS party from the Telangana state by 2023,” said Bandi. This comment is not something new and whenever he comes before the media, he lashes out at the TRS government.
“It’s been seven years and still the martyrs are yet to get the right justice for the supreme sacrifices they made. BJP and our leader Sushma Swaraj played a crucial role in passing the bill in Parliament and KCR was nowhere when the Telangana bill was getting passed,” criticised Bandi.
With the confidence in the recent elections, BJP has emerged as the main opposition to TRS in Telangana. But the party is finding it tough to sustain its status. Will Bandi and BJP be able to dismantle the fort of TRS? Two more years, we will get to see.
