Sonali Bendre’s Throwback Pic Melts Hearts

On the eve of National Cancer Survivors Day, actress Sonali Bendre has shared a throwback picture of her during her toughest phase and recalled those moments.

Back in July 2018, Sonali was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. The Indra and Khadgam actress had revealed that she wept for an entire night after she was diagnosed with the life-threatening disease. Sonali had revealed that a positive outlook helped her cope with cancer treatment.

It can be noted that Sonali had tonsured her head during her treatment. She was treated for the high-grade cancer at the New York’s hospital, United States and successfully returned to home turf. Ever since her return from the treatment, Sonali has been vocal about struggle and the battle on social media.

Sharing her pictures of then and now, the 90’s leading lady wrote, “How time flies… today when I look back, I see strength, I see weakness but most importantly I see the will to not let the C word define how my life will be after it…
