Balakrishna To Direct Mokshagna’s Debut, ‘Aditya 999’

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna’s debut is making the news for almost four years now. Ever since Balakrishna crossed his 100th film mark, there is a discussion about the fourth generation actor from the Nandamuri family. There are a lot of speculations surrounding Mokshagna’s debut but Balakrishna has given a full and final clarity on the same, on the occasion of his 61st birthday.

Speaking to a leading news channel in Telugu, Balakrishna confirmed that Mokshagna will debut with the sequel of Aditya 369. Tentatively titled Aditya 999, the film is considered a dream project for Balayya Babu.

“Writer Satyanand garu and director Singeetham garu came and narrated me a line for the sequel which I disliked. The next day, I, myself cooked up a plot and asked them to develop it. They were pleasantly surprised when I gave them the subject. They liked it immensely. I and Mokshagna will act together in the film,” revealed Balakrishna.

“My father launched me with Tatamma Kala when I was 14. I will launch my son with this film. I am not interested to give him a push with every film. One film with me is enough for him to learn. I will put all my experience to use in shaping him as an actor,” shared Balakrishna with a smile.

Balakrishna also hinted that he might direct the launch vehicle of Mokshagna. “Singeetham Srinivasa Rao garu will helm the project since he directed the first part. He himself told me that only I can do justice to the project in his absence. So, I might direct the film too,” shared the actor.

However, there is no clarity on when Aditya 999 hits the floors!
