Social media profiles of Indian celebrities being hacked by cyber hackers has become a regular phenomenon. In a latest, actress Pooja Hegde’s Instagram account with over 10.5 million followers fell prey to the hackers last night.
A controversial meme featuring Samantha from Majili was posted on Pooja’s Insta page. “I don’t find her pretty at all,” read the meme. The post went viral and shocked many.
Within no time, Pooja took to her Twitter and told her fans that her team had informed that her Instagram account was hacked. She urged all her fans not to accept any invitations or pass out any personal information to the hacker.
An hour later, Pooja again tweeted saying that she finally got her hands back on her Instagram account. She again requested her fans to ignore any message, follow back or post they received from her account and told them that all the follow backs will be undone, much to their disappointment.
However, trolls are not ready to believe Pooja. “Why would the hacker use your account to watch Majili?,” one troll connected. “Don’t play cover drives now,” said another troll. But relax guys, why would a star actress post sly memes targeting another star heroine?
