Hollywood’s star actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson suffered from COVID-19 during their Australia visit and they finally recovered and returned to the US. But Rita recently revealed some shocking opinions of her about the medicine used to treat coronavirus.
Rita complains about the extreme side effects of Hydroxychloroquine though she doesn’t know if the medicine helped her fight the virus or not, she suffered big with the new troubles from the malaria drug. She became completely nauseous and felt her muscles weakened. She opined that we do not really know if the drug is safe to treat coronavirus.
Though the US president has been endorsing Hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment for COVID-19, the CDC and WHO refused to state the same. Though it reportedly worked on many severely ill coronavirus infected patients, there are many researchers who have found fatal heart complications in the study participants with drug usage.
Well, for now, Hydroxychloroquine seems to be the only option in treating the COVID-19 infected, but the side effects are soon to turn a major concern if researchers and fresh studies are to be believed.
