Juggling between both feature films and OTT projects, Kajal Aggarwal is slowly getting inclined towards female-oriented films. The newly-wed actress announced a new film titled Uma, which is going to be a unique film in her career.
In a recent interview, Kajal Aggarwal shared her insights into the world of Uma. The actress revealed that Uma will be a Mary Poppins kind of a film where fantasy meets reality. The film revolves around her character and she helps the people deal with their problems through folktales.
Kajal tells that there are several layers and dimensions to the character she is playing in the film. The actress is regularly meeting her director on Zoom calls to understand the character better and prepare herself for the shoot.
Uma is directed by Tathagatha Singha. The film is bankrolled by Avishek Ghosh and Mantaraj Paliwal from Miraj Group. The project is likely to go on floors by the year-end.
