Now that the YS Jagan government is all set to give a green signal for film shootings, several small and big budget movies are gearing up to move to various locales in Andhra Pradesh. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is one such biggie that will be shot majorly in the state.
In December last year, Pushpa’s director Sukumar had wrapped up a small yet crucial schedule in the lush green forests of Kerala. Allu Arjun was supposed to join the shooting with the next schedule which was planned in Kerala initially.
However, long-distance outdoor shootings are impossible in these circumstances due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. Hence, Sukumar has decided to move to the dense Maredpalli forests in Rampachodavaram, East Godavari district.
It is said that the film’s Production Designer couple Ramakrishna and Mounika have already erected a massive Rs 3 crore worth forest and forest office set in Maredpalli. Apparently, nearly 60 percent of the film’s talkie portions will be shot in this set. The makers are currently awaiting the police permissions to kickstart the shooting.
