Venkatesh’s Fans Getting Aggressive On OTT Releases

The global pandemic pushed many theaters to OTT releases and even some big movies from Hollywood and Bollywood made their way to OTT. The fans of some heroes expressed their anguish on releasing the big-ticket movies on digital platforms, but for the last few days, star hero Venkatesh’s fans have been getting aggressive.

It is heard that two movies of Venkatesh are all set for OTT release and many fans are not happy with that. Venkatesh’s Drishyam 2 and Naarappa are rumored to be sold to Hotstar and Amazon Prime for the OTT release. Narappa is said to be coming on Amazon prime on July 24. The fans’ anguish made it to social media, as today one of them declared his anger through a hunger strike for one day, while another female fan hurt herself with a razor blade as a protest on Narappa’s OTT release.

The fans have been targeting Suresh Babu for the same and the posts against him on social media started flooding in the last two days. Their question is why Suresh Babu can’t wait for few more days for a theatrical release and that too for a mass backdrop movie like Naarappa.

Fans have been questioning how Venkatesh’s movie is not releasing in theaters when his previous film F2 minted crores of profits with theatre release. Well, we cannot expect Suresh Babu to step back from releasing Narappa on OTT, as the seasoned producer knows where he gets better monies.
