Superstar Rajinikanth wrapped up the shoot for his upcoming film Annatthe and left for the USA for his usual medical checkup. The Shivaji actor is going to return to Chennai in a couple of days. Meanwhile, the buzz grows on his upcoming films. There are speculations that Rajinikanth will quit acting but a report published on Daily Thanthi group reveals that Rajinikanth signed two films and one of them will be directed by his son-in-law Dhanush.
According to the report, Superstar Rajinikanth’s 169th film will be directed by Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal fame Desingh Periyasamy. Although the director earlier refuted rumors about directing Rajinikanth’s next, it looks like the project is currently on cards. AGS Entertainments will bankroll the project.
Rajinikanth’s 170th project is going to be Dhanush directorial. Dhanush made his debut as a director with Power Paandi. The actor recently revealed that he will direct his second film very soon. Rajinikanth’s daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya will pool the resources for this film.
The official confirmation on the two projects will be out soon.
