Prabhas has teamed up with KGF director Prashanth Neel for his upcoming film Salaar. This action drama went on the floors last year and is currently in the shooting stages.
Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing a negative role in it. Initially, he had given dates for the movie. But for some unknown reasons, Neel couldn’t shoot on those dates.
After that, Prithviraj decided to walk out of the project and asked Neel to get another actor on board. Disappointed Neel approached Prabhas.
The Baahubali actor had immediately called up Prithviraj and requested him to do the project. Apparently, he told Prithviraj that no one can pull off this role better than him.
Prithviraj was flattered by Prabhas’s humility and modesty. Immediately, he decided to come back on board. That’s how Prabhas convinced Prithviraj to make a reentry to Salaar.
He is expected to join the sets soon. Salaar features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. It is slated for the summer 2023 release.
