The accident happened at Shravani shipping godown which is situated at Pedagantyada in Vishakapatnam. A lot of sanitizers, gloves, masks and other protective gear were burnt in this fire accident.

Speaking about the incident, Red Cross Society’s state chairman Sreedhar Reddy said that the equipment was imported from Canada’s Red Cross Society in December 2021. He said that the delay in distribution happened as they got the permissions late.
