Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi are being questioned in a money extortion and laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Now four other models and actors’ names have come up in the case.
The Enforcement Directorate charge sheet has reportedly mentioned actresses Nikki Tamboli, Chahatt Khanna, Sophia Singh, and Arusha Patil met Sukesh in Delhi’s Tihar jail. The women reportedly received expensive gifts like Gucci and LV bags, a Versace watch, and also cash.
Nikki Tamboli’s statement in December 2021 has a report saying Pinky Irani contacted her in 2018 and introduced Sukesh Chandrasekhar as a South Indian producer wanting to make a film with her. According to ED’s charge sheet, Sukesh’s associate Pinky Irani received Rs 10 lakh in cash from Sukesh and she gave Rs 1.5 lakh to Nikita Tamboli. In their second meeting, Nikki was given Rs 2 lakh and one Gucci Bag by Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
Actress Chahatt Khanna discloses to ED that Pinky introduced Sukesh as Shekhar Reddy and said he was an owner of a South Indian channel. Chahatt Khanna reportedly revealed that she was called by Pinky and was told she was wanted as a mom blogger for a fund-raising event for a friend, which never happened. Pinky also booked flight tickets for her from Mumbai to Delhi in May 2018 to meet Sukesh.
Jacqueline Fernandez was questioned by the ED wing of the Delhi Police for over eight hours. Nora Fatehi was also questioned in the same case.
