Why Balayya Didn’t Visit Chalapathi Rao’s Mortal Remains?

One of the super talented senior actors of Tollywood, who has seen both the golden era and modern era of Telugu cinema, Chalapathi Rao breathed his last on Saturday night. A plethora of Telugu celebs including Megastar Chiru, Venkatesh and others paid a visit to his mortal remains Sunday. But then, why didn’t Nandamuri Balakrishna pay a visit to him remains a question now. 

In fact, Chalapathi Rao Tammareddy is very close to the NTR family for a long time. He is a hardcore devotee of NTR and always speaks about ‘anna garu’ in a big way. Owing to that closeness, even Jr NTR who is on a private family trip to the USA made a video call to Ravibabu to have a last look at the mortal remains of the actor. That brings us to the question of why Balayya didn’t make it there though he visited the mortal remains of the likes of Superstar Krishna earlier. 

It is coming out that Balayya has song shooting with Shruti Haasan for Veera Simha Reddy movie and as the actress is unable to provide dates from Monday due to another web series she is doing, the senior star is working 18 hours in the last two days. As the mortal remains of Chalapathi Rao will be cremated on Wednesday after his daughters arrive from the USA, Balayya wants to pay a visit either on Monday or Tuesday, revealed a source.
