Faraaz Trailer: An Intriguing Hostage Thriller

Acclaimed director Hansal Mehta is known for his films like Shahid, Omerta, and Aligarh. He shot to huge popularity with the 2020 web series Scam 1992. He is now coming with his new outing Faraaz. The trailer for this movie is out now.

Touted to be a hostage thriller, Faraaz’s trailer is highly intriguing. It is set in Dhaka in 2016. A group of terrorists attacks a renowned cafe in the town. As soon as they enter the cafe, they start firing and killing a lot of people.

A few will be taken as hostages. One of the hostages decides to turn against the terrorists. What happens next is the core point of the story.

The trailer is filled with thrilling moments and keeps us hooked on the proceedings. It also raised expectations around the movie.

Faraaz is based on the true story of the Holey Artisan Cafe attack in Bangladesh in July 2016. It features debutants Aditya Rawal and Zahan Kapoor as the leads. It is set for a worldwide release on February 3.
