Popular multiplex chain PVR is back with its offer that significantly lowers ticket prices to celebrate the cinema and its lovers on “Cinema Lovers Day”. Movie lovers can enjoy a premium cinema experience at only 99rs. Any show and any film can be watched at this price. But this offer lasts only for one day, the 20th of January 2023.
Other conditions include that it is not valid in cities like Chandigarh, Pondicherry, and Pathankot. In southern states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra, the price will be 100 + GST, and in Telangana, it will be 112 + GST.
Also, premium category seats like Recliners, Imax, and 4DX are outside the ambit of this offer. This offer is exciting news for moviegoers. Previously on 16th September 2022, the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) celebrated National Cinema Day by pricing tickets at 75rs only which was a banger of a hit. Occupancy was quite remarkable that day. Keeping this in mind, PVR has now brought a similar offer.
The timing of the offer is also interesting as big films, especially in the South of India, are ruling the box office as a part of the Sankranti fervor. Movies like Varisu, Waltair Veerayya, Veera Simha Reddy, and Thunivu can be enjoyed at prices as low as 100rs.
Many other new films like Puss in the Boots and Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam are also releasing this week which could be enjoyed at lowered prices.
