Custody Will Give A High From 40th Minute: Chay

Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty starrer action thriller Custody directed by Venkat Prabhu had its pre-release event celebrated grandly today.

Krithi Shetty thanked producers for giving her the opportunity. “It’s always positive to work with them. I was asked in an interview whether I played a de-glam role in the movie. Though it was a De-glamorous role, Kathir sir presented the character beautifully. Arvind Swami’s role is a tailer-made for him. Venkat Prabhu is already known to the Telugu audience. Chay is my favorite. He is my Bangarraju and now Shiva. Everyone will fall in love with him. He is one of the biggest inspirations for me.”

Venkat Prabhu surprised the viewers by imitating producer Dil Raju. He said the movie will have style, action, performances, family sentiment, and also mass. Big thanks to Chay for believing in me and the story. Krithi is a wonderful actress. Arvind Swami has done a big role. The whole movie runs between these two characters.” The director also hinted about the probability of Custody 2.

Naga Chaitanya revealed how he got excited when Venkat Prabhu narrated the story. “The director made movies with Ajith, Suriya, Karthi, and Simbu. He is here to entertain the Telugu audience. This is the most expensive project; I’ve ever done. I learned a lot from Arvind Swami. The director designed unique action sequences between me and Sharath Kumar. I feel so happy to see Krithi’s progress. Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is a blockbuster. Together, they will create magic in theatres. Premgi contributed a lot, behind the scenes, in terms of music. The first 20 mins will be cool like our director. The movie will give a high in the theatres from the 40th minute. The pre-interval action sequence will be bang-on. You’re going to see the new Chay.”
