Both Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar exchanged criticisms and barbs in the past. But now, Karan Johar has taken an unexpected turn by expressing his keenness to watch Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film “Emergency.”

In a surprising statement, Karan Johar shared his excitement about watching Kangana Ranaut’s “Emergency.” He told the media, “I am excited to watch it.”

Kangana, who came across the same, revealed that she is scared now and gave a reason for the same.

“Ha ha last time when he said he was excited to see Manikarnika, the worse smear campaign of my life was unleashed upon me on its releasing weekend,” wrote Kangana, adding that she is scared now as Karan is excited again.

“Emergency” focuses on a dark period in Indian democracy when former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency. Kangana Ranaut takes on the lead role of Indira Gandhi in the film, and her first look and glimpses from the movie have already generated significant attention.

Adding to the anticipation, Kangana is also directing the film. The cast includes Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Satish Kaushik, Mahima Chaudhry, and Milind Soman in important roles.

The film is scheduled for a grand release on November 24, 2023.
