Class 10 Student Masters 175 Skills, Excels in Exams and Sports

For most of the Class X students, preparing for the Board Examination is the most stressful, demanding their full attention and time. Though of the same age, Bandaru Pravallika from Konempala village in Andhra Pradesh went an extra mile and did something amazing. She learnt as many as 175 new skills in just one year. She completed 175 certificate courses online through Infosys Springboard.

Education Minister Lokesh congratulated her for her extraordinary achievement. Another surprising detail about Pravallika, she is a student of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Bhimli. She came across the platform when she was studying Class IX, when one of her school teachers mentioned about it.

The website grabbed her interest and attention and she learnt everything from robotics and AI to time management and other career skills through the website. After pursuing her regular academics, she set aside some time for the online courses.

Being a very hard working student, she also scored 557 out of 600 in her Class X Board exams.
Pravallika said that she is a single parent child, which made her understand reality in life.”When I entered KGBV, I saw a new world,” she said.
Not just in academics, Pravallika shines in sports. She is the vice-captain of her school’s cricket team and even won state-level medals at the state level in tennis ball cricket.

Pravallika is an inspiration to many students in her school. Drawing inspiration from her, over 18 students completed over 100 online courses.
