It has been exactly a year since the formation of the new NDA government in Andhra Pradesh and things are starting to look very positive for the state as a whole. On one hand, the new government is actively working on the investment policies in the state and on the other, law and order are being enforced by the rule book.
The incumbent government has taken a very proactive stand when it comes to investment policies and also the resurrection of Amaravati capital Project.
Back in 2019, almost immediately after Jagan took charge, he called for reverse tendering in many government projects which led to severe financial distress and scared several companies. This is one of the principal reasons why the state of Andhra Pradesh took a huge back step after the 2019 result.
However, the new government is active when it comes to positive projection of fiscal matters. Amaravati is already a bustling capital project and other parts of the state, including Rayalaseema are on the positive horizon.
On the other hand, we have Pulivendula MLA and the aspiring opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan, who is rather stagnated.
The last one year, Jagan has proposed to hold multiple protest events, but not once did he actually partake in any protest. He has been complaining his visits to Andhra Pradesh to mere weekly meetings with his cadres and media meetings.
One of the principal comments against Jagan when he took as the chief minister was his reluctance to be with the public. He completely stayed away from the public’s eye and thus distanced him from the masses. Many people thought he would change his ideology after having lost the election but he’s still firmly away from the common folk.
Notably, the incumbent government is very proactive when it comes to delivering public friendly governing and they’re on the right track for the same while the designated man of masses Jagan is away from this formula.
