Rakul Preet Singh recently appeared in the Bollywood comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh Do alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film had a decent opening weekend, collecting Rs 4.38 crore on Day 1 and reaching Rs 9.06 crore on Sunday. However, weekdays saw a sharp drop, and the film struggled to hold audiences.
After one full week, the film collected around Rs 34 crore in India and nearly Rs 40 crore worldwide. With new competition from Chand Mera Dil arriving in the second week, the film is likely to close around Rs 45–50 crore, well below expectations and a disappointment compared to the original hit.
Despite the film’s average performance, Rakul Preet Singh is making sure her star power does not go unnoticed.
