418, the upcoming horror thriller from Mythri Movie Makers, is slated for release on September 18th. Presented by Prashanth Neel and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, the film introduces Kirtan Nadagouda as a director. The trailer was unveiled today, offering a disturbing glimpse into the film’s world.
The trailer sets a chilling tone from the start, with a watchman hinting at a haunted house. It follows 18-year-old Vivek, trapped between reality and hallucination, as the mystery deepens around the house sealed for 15 years and Room No. 418. The arrival of a pregnant woman Devika further intensifies the suspense.
The second half is where 418 truly reveals its horror credentials. Director Kirtan Nadagouda appears committed to building fear through atmosphere, suspense and disturbing situations. Dinesh Divakar’s camera work captures the haunted spaces with inventive angles, while Venky GG’s background score creates a constant feeling of impending danger.
Chaithra Achar commands attention. Her performance is unsettling and powerful, with her terrifying appearance and eerie mannerisms becoming the source of several of the trailer’s most memorable moments. The remaining cast members also receive intriguing introductions, suggesting that each character has a role to play in the mystery.
418 makes a strong case for itself as a dark and atmospheric horror thriller. The trailer opens the doors to a world of hellish horror, leaving behind several questions while delivering enough unsettling moments to spark curiosity.
