‘Salaar’ mania all over again after Netflix release

Published by

Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’, directed by KGF fame filmmaker Prashanth Neel, made its OTT debut through Netflix on this 20th. The first part amassed over 600 Crores gross worldwide and emerged as a big hit, giving a sigh of relief to the Adipurush actor. His stupendous screen presence and Neel’s impressive execution of rip-roaring action blocks were the biggest selling points for Salaar.

The OTT release seems to have once again revived the brilliant cinematic experience offered by Neel and Prabhas as moviegoers are going gaga over some of the hair-raising episodes in the film. Social media platforms have been teeming with numerous posts since yesterday as many users started relieving their experience and showering praises on the team for delivering an action feast like no other in recent times.

Many videos from the high-octane Kateramma fight and coal mine action sequences are currently going viral all over. Neel’s signature style screenplay and narration, Ravi Basrur’s superlative BGM and the intense performances of leading characters are the most talked about aspects among netizens.

Furthermore, the anticipation for the second part has amplified further with this OTT release. Many are expecting that Neel will overcome his narrative shortfalls in the next part and deliver a more riveting experience than what he offered in the first part.

Meanwhile, the suspense on when the second part will go on floors hasn’t yet ended as there is no clarity from the production house. Talk is that Neel is planning to kick start Salaar 2 before taking up his next commitments.
