Ayodhya is abuzz as Prime Minister Narendra Modi participates in the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the new Ram Mandir.
The event, starting at 12:20 pm, includes consecrating the idol of Ram Lalla. Notable figures from various sectors are in attendance. The Nagara-style temple, 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height, showcases intricate carvings of Hindu deities. ‘Pran Pratishtha’ rituals began on January 16. Global events by Vishva Hindu Parishad are planned.
Security measures include 10,000 CCTV cameras and AI-equipped drones. VIPs like Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, and Sachin Tendulkar are present, while opposition leaders have opted not to attend. This follows the 2019 Supreme Court verdict allowing the temple’s construction.
