Gulte Analysis – What happens when a movie star in the 90s who wants to shed his ‘Romantic Hero’ image and attain an ‘Action Hero’ image by learning method acting and improving his weapon handling skills, enters a Rifle Club in the Western Ghats that is owned by a large extended family who is fighting against a ruthless arm dealer to save their lives? The events that unfold forms the rest of the story of Rifle Club.
If you are in the mood to watch a film with quirky fun sequences, stunning visuals, a few adrenal-pumping sequences along with very well-done action choreography and excellent performances from almost loads of actors, Rifle Club is a film you should not miss. The film has a few flaws in writing but it certainly deserves a watch during a weekend for its merits.
An Interesting Fact About The Film – A total of eight feature film directors played the role of actors in the film. It is probably for the first time in the history of Indian cinema, that as many as eight directors performed as actors in crucial roles in a film.
