Two students from India who have been studying in the USA were killed in an accident that occurred in Pennsylvania. The officials confirmed that the accident occurred after the car crashed into a tree and struck a bridge.
Another passenger in the front seat was injured and is undergoing treatment currently. The accident took place early Saturday.
Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate road accident in which two Indian students from Cleveland State University, Manav Patel and Saurav Prabhakar, lost their lives; Our thoughts and prayers are with their families during this difficult time. The Consulate is in touch with the families and has assured them of all possible assistance,” read a tweet from the official handle of the Consulate General of India in New York.
