At a time when the Indian students are not very certain about leaving for the USA and abroad, the untimely deaths of several individuals is raising alarm. In a latest development, an Indian student named Tanya Tyagi who lives in Canada died and the cause of death is reportedly unclear. The Consulate General of India has confirmed her demise.
Tanya Tyagi hails from Delhi and she was enrolled into the University of Calgary in Canada. She died in Vancouver on Thursday and the officials mentioned that her death remained unclear. The consulate has confirmed that they would assist with all necessary formalities and are in touch with Canadian authorities.
“We are saddened by the sudden demise of Ms. Tanya Tyagi, an Indian student at the University of Calgary. The Consulate is in touch with the authorities and will provide all required assistance to the bereaved family. Our heartfelt condolences & prayers are with his family & friends of the deceased,” the statement read from the Consulate.
On the other hand, there are unverified reports that she died of a heart attack. But, more details are awaited.
