The hashtag #TrumpIsDead started trending online, creating confusion and sparking wild rumors. The speculation grew stronger after former US President Donald Trump stayed away from the public eye for nearly three days.
Adding fuel to the fire, Vice President JD Vance made a statement about being prepared for a “terrible tragedy,” and even a joke from The Simpsons creator Matt Groening added to the buzz.
However, The White House condemns all the rumours and false trends, the major media outlets like The Economic Times and The Times of India have confirmed that these reports are completely false. Trump is alive and doing fine.
The White House explained that the bruises seen on Trump’s hands are due to frequent handshakes and aspirin usage. His doctors also clarified that he is dealing with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a common condition that causes swelling and bruising but is not life-threatening.
Even though he hasn’t attended public events recently, Trump has been active on his platform Truth Social, where he reacted to the recent federal appeals court ruling against his tariffs.
For now, the “Trump is dead” chatter has been dismissed as nothing more than a rumor gone viral.
