In a devastating tragedy, a 23-year-old young Telugu student named Patibandla Lokesh reportedly died while swimming in a pool in Boston, USA. The exact cause of death is still uncertain, and the US police authorities are investigating the case.
Patibandla Lokesh hailed from Martur in the Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh. His father, Patibandla Venubabu, has a granite business in Martur. Lokesh went to the US for his higher studies a few years ago. After completing his MS, he got a job and has been staying in Boston for the last eight months.
On Thursday night, family members in Martur received information that Lokesh had accidentally fallen into a swimming pool and died. Efforts are on to bring Lokesh’s body to his hometown. His death has left Martur and the Patibandla family in grief.
