The number of hate crimes against the Indian community abroad have been on an alarming rise, and we have another addition to this list. Shockingly, an Indian origin, Sikh girl was reportedly gang raped in the United Kingdom.
The girl is said to be in her 20s, and she was allegedly assaulted physically and raped by two white men in West Midlands.
The attack reportedly happened at the Tame Road in the morning on September 9 and it has seriously disturbed the Indian community locally as they are severely condemning the same.
The victim was reportedly approached by two white men at around 8:30 AM in the morning on September 9, and they proceeded to physically assault and rape her subsequently. On top of that, they even abused her verbally saying “You don’t belong here. Go back to your country.”
The West Midlands police have filed a complaint and are investigating the case on priority now with significant pressure from the Indian community in UK.
