The gruelling murder and decapitation of Indian origin Chandra Nagamallaiah in Dallas, United States sent shockwaves amongst the Indian community in the country. There were widespread protests after Chandra was brutally murdered in daylight in front of his family.
The matter has gained so much significant that the United States president of Donald Trump himself as reacted to this matter, and here is what he had to say about the same.
I am aware of the terrible reports regarding the murder of Chandra Nagamallaiah, a well respected person in Dallas, Texas, who was brutally beheaded, in front of his wife and son, by an ILLEGAL ALIEN from Cuba who should have never been in our Country, Trump stated.
The President further added that this culprit individual must not have been in the country in the first place as he was supposed to be deported to Cuba. Trump even noted that the individual was even arrested multiple times for drug usage and child sex abuse. He blamed previous president, Joe Biden for not following deportation guidelines.
Trump used this incident to propel his narrative against illegal immigrants as he said he will not go soft on such incidents and added that there would be serious consequences.
Trump further communicated that the accused will be prosecuted with fullest law enforcement and would be charged with first degree murder.
