NRI Woman Shot Dead By Robber In The US

Another day, another horrific act of violence against Indians in the USA has claimed the life of an innocent 49-year-old Gujarati woman. In a shocking incident, Kiran Patel was shot dead by a 21-year-old man during a robbery at her convenience store in Union County, North Carolina. The brutal murder took place 3 days ago, and it was caught on the CCTV cameras in the store.

According to the reports, Kiran Patel ran DD’s Food Mart on South Pinckney Street. The culprit opened fire at Kiran when she resisted his attempt to rob her store. When cops arrived at the store at 10:30 pm, they found Kiran lying dead in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
