A Sunday prayer gathering near Detroit turned into chaos when violence erupted inside a Mormon church. Authorities confirmed that at least four people lost their lives and eight others were injured in the shocking incident.
According to police, the attacker crashed his vehicle into the church during morning service and opened fire on the congregation. Panic spread as worshippers tried to escape, but the situation worsened when a fire broke out inside the building. Two victims died on the spot, while two more were trapped in the blaze. Several others are receiving treatment for serious injuries.
The suspect, identified as a 40-year-old former Marine from Michigan, is now in custody. Investigators are still piecing together what led to this horrific attack that shattered a peaceful Sunday service.
