Trump Slams Magazine For Printing His “Worst of all time” Picture

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday criticised Time Magazine for his photo printed on the cover, in which his hair seems to have “disappeared”. He called it “the worst of all time”.  In a Truth Social post, Trump claimed the image made his hair “disappear” and featured “a floating crown” above his head, but an extremely small one. Calling it a “super bad picture,” he questioned the magazine’s motives, asking, “What are they doing, and why?”

Yet he praised the magazine to some extent for the “relatively good story” about him. In February, Trump had not taken well to a Time magazine photo showing then Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chief Elon Musk sitting at the Oval Office’s Resolute Desk. “Is Time magazine still in business? I didn’t even know that,” he had commented, while praising Musk’s work.

The latest cover of Time Magazine is titled ‘His Triumph’ when Trump is credited for bringing a Gaza ceasefire and hostage exchange deal to fruition, and also bring a halt to Israel-Hamas hostilities that began on October 7, 2023. On Monday, 20 Israeli hostages were freed while Israel released some 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and the remains of about 360 Palestinians.

Trump’s initiative made Israel to reiterate its support for Trump being conferred with Nobel Peace Prize in 2026, an honour which Trump wanted this year. The US President has been mentioning about the award several times claiming that he had ended multiple wars across the world.
