He is the CEO and chairman of Ingenus Pharmaceuticals, a company known for making important cancer and mental health medicines at affordable prices. Mantena studied computer science engineering at JNTU in India and later completed a pharmacy degree in the US. He also founded P4 Healthcare in 2005. He lives in Florida with his wife Padmaja Mantena.
