Embarrassing Videos: Why Are Indians Facing Backlash in US?

The larger section of the Indian population primarily travels to the United States for better employment opportunities. But there are these occasional incidents involving the Indian community, which leads to embarrassing situations, and now we have one such story and development. 

In this context, an embarrassing video is now going on social media and it involves a couple of Indian individuals dancing at a culturally significant locality in Texas.

While it is still unclear whether the video is recent or old, the fact that it has sparked discussion now is the real worrying factor.

In this video, we see a couple of Indian individuals dancing at the famous Texas Longhorn statue locality, which is a historical landmark in Dallas. The fact that these Indian individuals created a scene by dancing here has not gone well with the native Americans and they have strong opinions on the same.

“The #Dallas cattle statues were built to honor settlers driving longhorns across open plains.Fast forward 150 years, now serving as the backdrop for telugu tiktok dance routines. India, Your people are embarassing themselves and making Texans irate in the process.” A local American wrote while sharing this video. 

Reacting to this video, another American posted “This is Texas…Cowboy country right?

Why are so many Indians ,who live all the way across the ocean, making Texas look like India? Why are the Christians so quiet? This is our homeland.”

In a sharp contrast to this, another Indian came up with a contradicting opinion as he pointed out “Move out if you are not happy. Your country is built by Indians & money looted from India. It’s pay back time”.

Whatever might be the reason, contradicting the beliefs and creating cultural rifts with the local American population is never a good thing for the Indian settlers, and such incidents must be stopped on priority.
