USA: Telugu Woman Dies After Drowning In A Swimming Pool

In recent times, we have been hearing several tragic incidents involving NRIs abroad, especially from the Telugu community, including heart attacks, accidents, and suspicious deaths. Now, another unfortunate incident has shocked the Telugu community once again.

A Telugu woman, Veena, died in a swimming pool in the US. Veena was living in Virginia. Two days ago, she went to Florida to take part in a function and died drowning in a swimming pool there.

Her parents — Devender Reddy and Sunita, are resident of Lingojiguda division in LB Nagar constituency limits, were devastated on hearing the news of their daughter’s death.

On knowing about the death, LB Nagar MLA Devireddy Sudhir Reddy visited Veena’s parents and consoled them. He promised to shift Veena’s body to their home at the earliest. He assured them of extending all possible help during the crisis.

We express our heartfelt condolences to Veena’s family during this painful time of sorrow. May her soul rest in peace.
