Considering the fact that this is the first ever election campaign for Thalapathy Vijay, he had been undergoing severe turbulence even after taking TVK to a comfortable position of the single largest party.
After meeting the governor of Tamil Nadu, multiple times over the last few days, Vijay has finally convinced him that he has the strength to from the government. He reportedly presented the proof of 121 MLAs backing him which promoted the governor to approve his stake as CM.
It is reported that Vijay will be holding a swearing in ceremony in Chennai at around 10:00 AM tomorrow, and he will be taking charge as the chief minister then.
It really needs to be said that this should be considered the final lock in period for the swearing in ceremony for Vijay. There was a lot of delay already, which took away the celebratory spirit from Vijay supporters. Any further delay could mean all the more consequential.
So the public opinion now is that Vijay must not miss the current slot of CM swearing in ceremony tomorrow at any cost. If there are any turbulence this time around, this could send wrong signals to the public about him being unable to sort out a simple number game before becoming the CM. It would raise doubts about his political ability. This isn’t good for a new and budding CM like him.
