Black Bear Kills Indian MMA Fighter in Canada!

Since the last few weeks, there have been several fatal incidence in involving the Indian community, including suicide and shootings in Canada. We have been hearing a fatal case, almost every other week in the recent while.

Now we have a shocking addition to the list as an Indian origin MMA fighter has been mauled to death by a bear in Canada.

Going into the story, 27-year-old Indian MMA fighter Hrishikesh Koloth from Kerala was killed by a black bear on May 8 while working at a remote uranium site in northern Saskatchewan, Canada.

The youngster had trained in MMA for over a decade and dreamed of fighting in the UFC. Sadly, he was attacked by a black bear at his place of work and sustained severe injuries which killed him.

Apparently, a coworker shot the bear after the attack and this happens to be only the 4th fatal bear incident in the province’s history.

The young MMA fighter had arrived in Canada, 73 years ago, with the dream of fighting in MMA and he passed away without realising this dream due to this bear attack.
