US President Donald Trump never misses out on grabbing the headlines with his outspoken statements on his counterparts from other countries. Amid ongoing war negotiations with Iran, Trump’s alleged heated conversation in a hotline call with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has now hogged the attention of global media.
As per reliable reports, Trump is said to have involved in a tense diplomatic phone call with Benjamin Netanyahu during which the former has used unparliamentary language against the latter in the heat of the moment while discussing about the issues relating to Iran war.
The telephonic conversation took place happened on Monday and close sources said that Trump cursed at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a roughly 15-minute phone. It has been leaked that Trump accused Netanyahu of being ungrateful and called him ” f***ing crazy,” over the Iran’s unprovoked escalation on Lebanon which the US President believes could derail the peace deal with Iran.
Media reports claimed that at one point during the controversial call, Trump asked Netanyahu, “What the f*** are you doing?” He was reportedly upset with the way Netanyahu has been handling the ongoing situation which has pushed Iran to backtrack over the ongoing negotiations with USA.
Even as both sides from US and Iran are engaging in serious discussions to end the three month long escalation, Israel Defense Forces have confronted with the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia again. This unnecessary provocation has frustrated Trump once again.
Trump has repeatedly blamed Netanyahu for all the hate Israel is getting globally adding that Israeli military actions are fuelling international hostility. Trump also warned that Netanyahu would have been in prison for his senseless actions. The US President also objected to Israel’s escalating threats against Beirut.
After Trump’s phone call, Israel has reportedly stepped back and put its military operation on hold.
