The volume of the Indian population and particularly the Telugu student community, travelling abroad has been going up consistently. Apart from the United States, the Indian student groups are searching for other destinations in Europe as well.
Now we have the disheartening case of a Telugu boy who has reportedly gone missing in Finland. The shocking thing is that he had been missing for the last 45 days, but there is still no update on his whereabouts yet.
This story involves a Telugu student name named Mandeep Reddy, who had been pursuing BTech in Finland. Incidentally, he spoke with his family members on May 4 and this happened to be the last time that he was attending the calls from his family as he is not accessible since May 5.
The family members panicked, and they got in touch with the friends and other nearby people in Finland, but there has been no positive update regarding his whereabouts. It has been 45 days since he disappeared, and there is still no clear word about the wellbeing.
The parents approached the Telangana High Court to provide them with an update regarding their son and the court has now instructed the central authorities to look into the matter on priority.
