Texas Governor Supporter Burns India Flag, Condemns Temples!

It is already known that the United States is witnessing a strong campaign against the Indian community and its people from a section of the domestic population. This wave has been gaining momentum in the last few months and the repercussions are being felt all over.

Now we have the case of US woman Kelly Smith who is claiming to be running for Texas Governor who appears to be back at it again.

After repeatedly mocking Indians, Hindu temples and Indian culture, she has now posted a video burning the Indian flag. She posted this video on social media where she’s seen burning up the Indian flag as a sign of protests against the Indian community.

Anti-India rhetoric in Texas is becoming increasingly visible and this particular lady even spoke against the increased volume of Hindu temples in the USA. She says the land of America is being stolen by Indians and she’s here to stop the same.

Indian Americans have contributed immensely to the U.S. economy and innovation and it is safe to say that they deserve respect and recognition. So, racism against Indians must be called out with the same urgency as racism against anyone else and this campaign needs to be developed at the earliest.
